Hotels near Harrods London

There are not many budget / tourist hotels located in the immediate vicinity of Harrods as this is a very upmarket area with some of the best hotels in London within one mile. The best option is to look at neighbouring South Kensington where there are in excess of 80 hotels ranging from one through to five star. South Kensington is a mere 10 to 15 minute very easy walk away passing by the Natural History Museum and the V & A Museum. Alternatively a taxi from South Kensington costs around £ 5. The underground runs there from Earls Court and Gloucester Road in less than 4 minutes.

With 7 floors and 330 departments, Harrods is "must see" attraction and do not forget that within 100 yards you also have Harvey Nichols department store with its famous 5th floor restaurant and bar. At harrods there are more than 26 bars/ restaurants to sample international fare from sushi to tapas to champers !
