Kensington is accepted as a good area to stay. Being an upmarker residential area of London, there are many respectable tourist class hotels offering sensible rates midway between those of the West End and those of Bayswater. A good area to stay is around the Gloucester Road Underground Station at the junction of Cromwell Road and Gloucester Road in postcode SW7 area. Here there are great transport links to all areas of London and of particular interest, the underground runs direct to each terminal at London Heathrow Airport and in the opposite direction runs directly to Covent Garden, Piccadilly Circus and the City.
